Rogers Centre - Toronto's Iconic Multi-Purpose Stadium

Formerly known as Sky Dome, the Rogers Centre was the 1st fully functioning retractable roof sports stadium in North America. Building was started in October of 1986 and completed less than three years later. The dome cost approximately $570 million CDN… close to $1 billion in today’s money.
